Jayati Goenka Handwork believes in the idea of acknowledging and
celebrating imperfections as an aesthetic, featuring a refined
interplay of contrast and contradiction in materials, textures, &
possibilities.
Making their debut at Lakme Fashion Week in 2020, the brand presented “EVOLVE” a simplified perspective on artisanal fashion, with dabu print pattern & handmade textures to shine
The brand aims to create an urban bohemian space where familiarity & mystery coexist instilling a distinct character to their work. This is evident in its print patterns, garments, design details, and styling, all of which feature homogeneity yet carry a strong signature of its own.
Collaborating with artisans in Jaipur, as well as master craftsmen from Bagru, the brand re-contextualises India’s rich craftsmanship into a modern visual culture.
The aspiration is to design a fashion heritage that is empathetic, everlasting & culturally significant.The brand’s exploration into textiles, fashion, and printing techniques is driven by a spirit of discovering new in the tradition.
Over the years Jayati Goenka Handwork has garnered recognition at major concept stores within the country and has made international debuts in Japan and the Middle East.
